Hospital-based Services

The Centre arranges trained volunteers to provide outpatient and inpatient spiritual care services at five healthcare institutions: Tung Wah Eastern Hospital, Shatin Hospital, Precious Blood Hospital, and newly added Ruttonjee Hospital and Cheshire Home Chung Hom Kok. Through a spiritual care approach integrated with Buddhist wisdom, patients and their families are encouraged to face illness with composure and stillness, embracing treatment with a positive and open mindset.

The Centre also offers activities such as art-based mindfulness sessions and online spiritual workshops for healthcare staff and volunteers at these hospitals, supporting them in cultivating inner awareness and experiencing present-moment peace, thereby enhancing their spiritual well-being.
