Other Community Services

Social Welfare Volunteer Support Services

The Centre partners with frontline social welfare organizations for our volunteers to provide spiritual care and emotional support to their service users and also assist in the promotion of community-based services.

(1) Project Concern Hong Kong: 10th Anniversary of Love Teeth Day Celebration

The Centre’s volunteers supported the event and assisted in promoting oral health awareness and dental care education to the public.

(2) Spiritual Care Visit to the Ebenezer School & Home for the Visually Impaired

In the dedicated visit, the Centre’s volunteers offer spiritual and emotional care to residents with visual impairments through elderly wellness massage, sharing blessings and heartfelt support.

(3) “Living Together in Unity: Subdivided Units/Inadequate Housing” Spiritual Care Visit

The Centre’s volunteers visited residents living in subdivided units or inadequate housing, offering interactive engagement, emotional support, spiritual care and blessing.

Partner Organization: The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Total sessions: 1

(4) “Inclusive Friendship” Spiritual Care Visit

During the visit, the Centre’s volunteers offer interactive engagement, emotional support,  blessings and care to residents with physical disabilities or cognitive challenges.

(5) “Seeing with the Mind: International White Cane Day 2025”

Through participating in the charity walk and carnival, the Centre’s volunteers help raise public awareness of the abilities and needs of visually impaired individuals, promoting a more caring and inclusive society.
